“Viana, The Legend of Golden Hearts”: the film that will take the soul of Viana to the world ✨

Viana do Castelo is once again in the spotlight with the presentation of “Viana, The Legend of the Golden Hearts” , a Portuguese animated production inspired by a legend of the city. The project was developed by Watermelon Productions and promises to move audiences by showcasing the generosity, love, and courage that define the spirit of Viana.

Directed by Rodrigo Carvalho , the film combines romance, humor, and action in a 3D animated musical. The story follows Thomas , a young craftsman of Portuguese guitars, and Ana , the daughter of a governor, who defies social conventions to follow her heart.

The cast features Portuguese and international voices , including Diogo Piçarra , Daniela Melchior , Melânia Gomes , Pepê Rapazote , Vasco Palmeirim , and Nuno Markl . The soundtrack includes original songs and promises to be one of the highlights of the production.
